It has been a while since I posted last and that's because I have been on the brink of death, AGAIN! A little too dramatic? Okay, we'll try again. Saturday I got real sick again and by Monday, after spending all day at doctors' offices and several hundreds of dollars, I learned I had a near abscess on my right tonsil. If I'd waited another day, I would have had to have it either drained or removed. And given the fact that I was supposed to go out of town with Shane on Tuesday, an operation really didn't fit into the schedule. Fortunately, with the help of Medrol and Augmentin, the swelling went down and I didn't have to go under the knife - this week. I'm feeling much better, however, the girls and I didn't get to go to SLC with Shane. We were all pretty bummed about that. Perhaps another time. However, in my down time, I did manage to take a couple pictures, so here they are.
Today, my mom offered to break up the monotony of our boring week at home instead of out of town, which was a nice change for us all!! (Thanks, Mom!) She invited the girls over after school for a scrapbooking day. We all put together a page and had a good time. Then we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa and came home and watched a movie. Of course, it was late when they went to bed and Layla was in tears over missing her dad. But after a quick phone call, lots of kisses and hugs, she decided it really was an okay day (especially if Sunday hurries!)

Looks like your girls had fun with grandma. I'm glad your feeling better, but bummer you didn't get to go with shane I hate those disappointments.
I hope that you got to get some rest this week! Your girls are adorable as always and I'm glad that you're feeling a little better. We're pretty sad that we didn't get to see you guys this week, hopefully sometime soon. I'm trying to keep the kids satisfied with just pictures. We miss you guys!
The pictures of your girls are so cute!! I forgot how pretty your living room floor is. My girls do the same thing, only they do it through the kitchen and dining room on our tile!! It gets a little bit wild, but they love it. The scrapbooking looks like so much fun. That's such a great idea and your girls will always remember it.:)
After seeing your girls do crafts with grandma, Carson decided he wanted to go to Grandma's house and do some too. All I can say is that it's going to be a long two months until Thanksgiving for him.
