So much seems to have happened, though it seems to have been centered all in a couple days. For the 4th, we went over to some friends and had a BBQ and did a few fireworks. The kids had a great time!
Natalie Sundquist, Lylli, Layla, and Alexis Worthen. Aren't they adorable!
Seryn wasn't sure what to think of the sparkler, but after she tried to grab hold of the 'sparkle' that was the end of her sparkler experience.
The girls really had a good time!
Today we had a pretty enjoyable time. Lylli and Shane rode the vet in the parade and Layla and I watched. (Thanks to Grandma who watched Seryn!) Layla loved the horses and the clown car that pulled wheelies!
Layla and Mom at the parade! We were so excited!
Shane drove Ray Pacheco (who is running for County Commisioner). Lylli was his side girl, who had fun but was tired by the end.
This was the fun car that flipped wheelies!
Tonight we went to the fair. We saw the animals but a sheep 'baaa'ed in Seryn's face and she no longer trusted anything on four legs. The girls did have a great time riding a couple rides though. They both said the slide was their favorite but Layla said she liked her car ride too. They had a great time and we topped the night off with the best part of the fair! Funnel Cakes!!!!!!
The first ride of the evening. The Carousel! What girl can resist?
Layla and Mom on the slide. It was soooo high! Layla had so much fun that after the ride was over, she ran back to the stairs to do it again! She didn't realize you had to pay for every ride and that Mom had to pay too. Oh well.
Lylli on the slide. She's big enough to go by herself this year!
Seryn loved the music and was almost constantly dancing.
Layla driving her car with another little boy. She really liked this.
Lylli on her motorcycle. She was really getting into this. Every time the bike went down, she hunched over and every time it went up, she pulled back on it. It was so cute! She's most definitely her father's daughter.
The girls watching one of the rides with their dad.
